Personal Pizzas in the Air Fryer

If you want a quick and hot meal for lunch or dinner, cooking up some personal pizzas in the air fryer is the way to go. It is amazing how quickly these come together! They are delicious, and everyone can build their own to their liking.

Whether you use beef or sausage, pepperoni or all veggies, you are in control of your own pie. The refrigerated pizza crusts work well, but if you are ambitious, you can certainly make your own dough. The best thing is that once your have assembled your masterpiece, it takes less than 10 minutes to cook.

One can certainly prepare the toppings ahead of time and bring them out when it is time to eat. We pile on the ingredients so it is easier to build the pizza in the basket of the air fryer. Pair the pizza with a salad for an easy meal in 15-20 minutes, leaving plenty of time for relaxing by the fire!

Meal Type:Dinner or Lunch
Serves:2
Difficulty Level:2 of 5
Time Needed20 min
Equipment Needed:Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • Tube of Refrigerated Pizza Dough – 12 inch
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Small Can or Jar of Pizza Sauce
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pizza Toppings – be sure the meat is pre-cooked

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees. Spread 1/2 of the raw dough into a circle or rectangle that will fit into the air fryer basket. Brush all sides of the dough with olive oil. Place the oiled crust in the air fryer basket and coat it with a thin layer of pizza sauce. Spread on a layer of mozzarella cheese and toppings of your choice. Add a little more cheese, because you can’t have enough cheese.

Air fry for 7 minutes and enjoy! For a crispier crust, pre-cook the oiled crust for 2-3 minutes before adding the ingredients. If you don’t want to mess with the raw dough, you can use a pre-made, packaged crust just as easily.
